Quality Management

  • Implement the company’s Quality Assurance (QA) system across all site activities.
  • Review existing QA/QC systems and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Monitor quality of works for all activities, including labor-only, domestic, nominated, selected, and direct subcontractors.
  • Ensure that work being paid for meets company, industry, and project standards.
  • Strive to ensure all activities are executed right the first time.
  • Ensure all necessary tests are conducted on completion and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in contract close-out processes, ensuring deliverables meet or exceed specifications.
  • Verify all materials used are approved and maintain records of approvals.

Planning & Site Coordination

  • Develop internal and short-term schedules for all sections, including subcontractors.
  • Ensure areas are safe and ready for subcontractor access.
  • Closely monitor progress and take corrective actions to prevent delays.
  • Ensure adequate allocation of resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Assist in quarterly financial forecast updates and retender assessments.
  • Compile and follow up on Bar Bending Schedules for approval by the Structural Engineer and Construction Surveyor.

Contractual Support

  • Assist in safeguarding the company’s contractual rights.
  • Monitor and track time-sensitive contractual claims and notifications.
  • Assist in fulfilling contractual obligations efficiently.
  • Assist in site setup, maintaining safety, welfare, and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and workforce.
  • Demonstrate customer-centric behavior and uphold company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure idle resources (plant, equipment, vehicles, staff) are removed promptly.
  • Support resolution of technical and site-related issues.
  • Ensure efficient execution of all site operations.
  • Assist in preparing reports, including meeting minutes, progress updates, and dashboards.
  • Issue correspondences after review with relevant stakeholders, as required.
  • Uphold the company’s interests, image, and reputation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the company’s Code of Conduct.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Foster teamwork, respect, and fair treatment among all colleagues.
  • Perform any other cognate duties assigned by management.

Key Requirement Skills And Qualification

  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field
  • Professional certification in Civil or Construction Engineering is required
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant design software
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Site Engineer in construction projects
  • All travel Logistics, meals and Accommodation provided
