Job Summary
Our client is a leading prestigious, innovative, and rapidly growing real estate company based in Nairobi, Kenya. They are seeking a qualified and experienced Site Engineer to oversee daily site operations, supervise construction activities, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and according to approved specifications and timelines.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site.
- Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor project progress, quality, and project timelines.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support on site.
- Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment utilization.
- Conduct inspections and ensure adherence to project requirements.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in construction or real estate development projects.
- Strong technical and site management knowledge.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and engineering-related software.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Core Competencies
- Experience in residential, commercial, mixed-use, or large-scale real estate development projects.
- Candidates based in Mombasa are highly preferred.
- Strong professional ethics and ability to work in multicultural project environments.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and demanding site conditions. Top of Form
