The Role
We are looking for an experienced Shopify specialist with web design expertise who can help us get the site structure and overall look and feel right from the start.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and configure the Shopify store framework
- Structure site navigation, collections, and product categories for ease of use
- Customize Shopify themes for a clean, modern, and branded design (light theme editing)
- Ensure the site layout aligns with UX/UI best practices
- Optimize store settings for payments, shipping, and customer experience
- Provide recommendations on fonts, color schemes, and general design aesthetics
- Assist with uploading demo content or initial product setup
- Advise on homepage layout and key landing pages (collections, product pages, etc.)
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Shopify store setup
- Strong web design skills with a good sense of layout, branding, and design consistency
- Proficiency with Shopify themes, basic HTML/CSS (for light tweaks), and liquid (a plus)
- Experience with UX/UI best practices for eCommerce websites
- Ability to deliver a professional, responsive design across desktop and mobile
- Experience working with lifestyle or eCommerce brands (furniture industry experience is a plus)
