Job Purpose

To coordinate and supervise the GDFCSL risk management and compliance activities by identifying, assessing, monitoring and reporting risks and compliance exposures

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure GDFCSL Departments Risk Registers are maintained and are updated by Risk Owners/Heads of Departments.
• Conduct periodic enterprise-wide risk review and provide feedback across all departments and depots
• Follow up implementation of recommendations arising from risk and compliance reviews.
• Ensure risk and compliance information presented to management is accurate, timely and supported by evidence.
• Monitor reported risk, fraud, compliance and control incidents.
• Promote risk awareness throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management or a related field.
• Professional qualification: CRMA (Certification in Risk Management Assurance), CPA, CIA
• (Certified Internal Auditor), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CFE (Certified Fraud
• Examiner), ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), or a recognized
• risk/compliance qualification.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in risk management, internal audit, governance,
• controls. compliance, or a related field.
• At least 4 years’ experience in a supervisory position
