We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in wholesale and core banking implementations. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise with Temenos solutions, strong delivery management skills, and a consultant-oriented background to lead large-scale transformation projects from initiation to go-live.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Temenos-based core banking implementation projects within wholesale banking environments.
- Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely delivery within scope, quality, and budget constraints.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, technical leads, vendors, and consultants.
- Manage project governance, steering committees, and client-facing progress reporting.
- Oversee requirement gathering, gap analysis, and solution design in alignment with business needs.
- Drive risk management, issue resolution, and change control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure seamless integration with existing systems, compliance with regulatory requirements, and adoption of best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior project members and act as a subject matter expert for core banking transformation.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 12+ years of overall IT experience with 10+ years in project management roles.
- Demonstrated experience in wholesale banking processes, products, and operations.
- Strong Temenos expertise (T24 or Transact) in implementation, upgrade, or migration projects.
- Solid background in consultancy engagement, preferably with top-tier consulting or system integration firms.
- Proven record of managing projects in core banking transformation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations, compliance standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification.
- Experience in multi-country banking rollouts.
- Familiarity with digital banking channels and integrations.
