Requirements

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: – 

• Cumulative service period of six (6) years’ work experience three (3) years of which should have been in the grade of Office Assistant II or in a comparable position. 
• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KSCE) mean grade ‘D’ plain or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; 
• Proficiency in computer applications; and 
• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results

Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:

• Carrying out cleaning work in designated areas;
• Lifting and moving of equipment and furniture occasionally as need arise to facilitate operations within departments;
• Undertaking delivery of stores and materials;
• Preparing and serving refreshments in the department; photocopying documents; and distributing incoming and outgoing mails.
