Qualifications

• You’re strong with numbers and naturally curious about how businesses work. You’ve spent a few years in FP&A, business finance, or financial analysis, ideally in fintech, financial services, or a fast-growing tech company where things move quickly and priorities change often.
• You’re comfortable building models in Excel or Google Sheets from scratch, digging into scenarios, and making sense of messy data. Pivot tables, XLOOKUPs, validations, and financial models don’t scare you.
• You can confidently read a P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement, ask smart questions, and spot what doesn’t make sense. You’ve probably worked on management reports, budgets, forecasts, or business cases that were shared with senior leadership.
• You likely studied Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or something similarly analytical, and you’re either working toward or already hold a CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or similar qualification.
• Most importantly, you care about doing good work. You take ownership, like improving things instead of maintaining broken processes, and you’re commercially minded enough to understand that finance is there to help the business make better decisions — not just report numbers.
