Senior Electrical Engineer Job Andishi
Looking for an engineering job in Kenya? Andishi is recruiting a Senior Electrical Engineer position. Proficiency in electrical design, power distribution, Revit/BIM, and NFPA 70 (NEC) is required.
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a team working on data centers and other mission-critical industrial facilities.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 6+ years of electrical design experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)
- Experience with medium- and low-voltage power distribution
- Experience with industrial facilities and campus power systems
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
- Experience using Revit/BIM
- Strong leadership and client communication skills
Preferred
- Data center design experience (3+ years)
- AI factory or mission-critical facility experience
- Greenfield project experience
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for data centers and industrial facilities
- Develop MV/LV power distribution, UPS, generators, grounding, lighting, and communication systems
- Prepare and review engineering drawings and construction documents
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Ensure quality and NEC compliance
- Support construction activities and collaborate with clients and contractors
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality
- Lead and mentor junior engineers
