Duties and responsibilities
An officer in this level is responsible for:
- Driving University vehicles
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness
- Reporting any vehicle defects to immediate supervisor
- Observing vehicle preventive maintenance
- Adhere closely to the highway code
- Be courteous and professional in dealing with passengers
- Ensuring work-tickets authorized.Â
Requirements for appointment
For appointment to this grade one must have:
- KCSE certificate or equivalent qualification
- Valid Driving License Class D1, D2 and D3 with PSV endorsement
- Passed Occupational Trade Test I for PSV drivers
- Certificate of good conductÂ
- Special professional driving license will be an added advantage
- At least six (6) years working experience
- Provide daily preventive maintenance of vehicles

- Must be 30 years and above
