Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Senior Credit Controller to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing debt collection and credit control activities to ensure timely recovery of receivables, minimize overdue balances, and support effective cash flow management while maintaining strong client relationships.
This role is critical in safeguarding the organization’s financial health through disciplined credit policy enforcement and proactive debtor management.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive collection of outstanding receivables in line with approved credit terms
- Monitor receivables ageing and actively reduce overdue balances
- Conduct structured and professional follow-up with clients and debtors
- Ensure accuracy and reconciliation of debtor accounts
- Enforce compliance with approved credit policies, limits, and terms
- Investigate and resolve payment disputes and billing discrepancies
- Escalate long-outstanding debts in line with internal procedures
- Prepare and present receivables and ageing reports to management
- Assess customer creditworthiness and recommend risk mitigation actions
- Maintain ethical, professional, and compliant debt collection practices

- Timeliness of follow-up actions
- Credit policy compliance
- Quality of debtor communication
- Accuracy of reporting
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related course (Accounting/Finance option)
- CPA (K) – Added advantage
- 2–4 years’ experience in credit control or receivables management
- Proven experience in debt recovery and debtor account management
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment
