Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of consultants in providing strategic advice to clients on issues involving payments – from market insights to internal design and value proposition
  • Develop and execute proposals for new client engagements
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the payments industry
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in payments technology and grow personal and firm profile through blogs and public reports
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and prospects. Clients are expected to include:
    • National switches
    • Regulators
    • Development partners in the payment space
    • Banks (payment divisions – issuing, acquiring, across all payment streams)
    • Payment Service Providers
    • Fintechs
  • Card Associations
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships
  • Develop and train more junior members of the team
  • Develop new products and services that can be sold to clients in the field of payments and digital financial services

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting or payments or DFS strategy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to excellence and client service
