Our client is a premier U.S.-based agricultural and breeding company known for excellence, quality, and purpose-driven growth. While our core operations are located in the USA, we proudly run a professional and talented administrative office in Kenya that supports multiple business functions.
They are looking for a high-performing Senior Accountant to join their Kenyan team. This is not just a finance role — it’s a leadership opportunity for someone with the vision and capability to grow into the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the company and other affiliated ventures.
Position Summary
The Senior Accountant will take full ownership for bookkeeping and financial management processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strategic insight, operational excellence, and a proactive mindset and help build a scalable financial foundation across multiple entities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration
- 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel/Google Sheets
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal)
- Self-driven, highly organized, and capable of remote collaboration
- CPA, ACCA, or other professional certification (completed or in progress)
- Experience supporting U.S. or international clients/businesses will be an added advantage
- Familiarity with U.S. tax and compliance standards is a plus but not required
- Experience in agribusiness, product-based, or service businesses will be an added advantage
