Summary: Security Officers Job Siloam Hospital. Responsible for protecting patients, staff, visitors, and hospital property while monitoring access points and responding to security incidents. Requires relevant security training, previous security experience and good communication abilities. The role is based in Kericho with duties performed on-site.

  • KCSE certificate or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Certificate in Security Guard Training from a recognized security training institution.
  • Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
  • At least 1–2 years’ experience in security work, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of security procedures, access control, patrols, incident reporting, and emergency response.
  • Basic First Aid training is an added advantage.
  • Good physical fitness and ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Ability to handle security equipment and surveillance systems, including CCTV and access-control systems.
  • Strong communication, observation, alertness, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • High level of integrity, discipline, professionalism, confidentiality, and ability to work effectively under pressure.
