Responsibilities

Security Oversight

• Manage and control physical access points for personnel, vehicles, and goods.
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and other security infrastructure to ensure continuous coverage and functionality.
• Investigate and document security breaches, theft, or unauthorized access.
• Coordinate with contracted security providers to ensure guard presence and performance standards are met.
• Maintain accurate access logs, visitor records, and security incident reports.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with company security policies, statutory regulations, and industry standards.
• Conduct regular internal audits and spot checks on security practices and inventory movement.
• Develop and implement facility security protocols and SOPs.
• Assist warehouse teams in maintaining compliance with OSHA and other relevant laws.

Incident & Emergency Reaction

• Steer incident reaction efforts for security breaches or safety concerns.
• Provide timely reports and recommend corrective actions following incidents.
• Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when required.

Training & Awareness

• Conduct regular training for warehouse staff on security protocols, asset protection, and incident reporting.
• Promote a security-conscious culture across all teams within the facility.
• Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, Risk Management, or related field.
• Possess 4+ years experience in security, compliance, or risk management roles, preferably in warehousing, logistics, or FMCG.
• Have proven track record in steering security operations and incident investigations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in CCTV systems, access control platforms, and alarm monitoring software.
• Have knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Are detail oriented and have high integrity.
• Possess excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Have the ability to work under pressure and handle privileged information discreetly.
• Possess certifications (Preferred): First Aid, OSHA, Security Management, or similar.
