We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Marketing Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving customer acquisition, promoting our internet services, and strengthening our market presence.
The Sales & Marketing Officer will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies, implementing marketing campaigns, and building strong customer relationships. This role requires an individual who is self-motivated, target-oriented, and passionate about delivering value to customers.
The successful candidate will work closely with management and other departments to ensure excellent customer experience, brand growth, and achievement of sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Promote and sell the company%u2019s internet and related services through direct sales, digital marketing, and field activations.
- Conduct market research to identify business opportunities, customer needs, and competitive trends.
- Plan and implement marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to increase brand visibility and sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and provide regular sales reports to management.
- Use digital platforms and social media to create awareness, generate leads, and engage with customers.
- Collaborate with the technical and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding and after-sales support.
- Maintain an up-to-date customer database and track sales performance using CRM or reporting tools.Represent the company professionally during client visits, community events, and business forums.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, ICT, or related field.
- Proven experience in sales, marketing, or customer acquisition, preferably within the ISP or telecommunications industry.
- Strong understanding of internet services, networking basics, and digital products.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Swahili (both spoken and written).
- Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies, campaigns, and promotions to drive subscriptions.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation is an added advantage.
- Goal-oriented, self-driven, and able to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Good knowledge of the local market dynamics (Nanyuki, Nyahururu, Naromoru, Meru, or similar regions).
- Willingness to work on field sales, activations, and customer engagement events.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, CRM software, or related tools).Prior experience in an ISP, telecom, or technology-driven company will be an added advantage.
