The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing effective sales strategies for Kingrich Farm’s egg and poultry products. The role leads the sales team, builds strong distributor and retail relationships, and ensures products reach the market efficiently while meeting company sales targets.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and annual sales plans to grow distribution of eggs and poultry products across target markets.
  • Build, manage and grow relationships with distributors, retailers, supermarkets, hotels and wholesale clients.
  • Lead, coach and supervise the sales team, setting clear targets and monitoring individual and team performance.
  • Identify new market opportunities and customer segments, and develop plans to penetrate them.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing and competitor activity, and recommend pricing or promotional adjustments as needed.
  • Coordinate closely with the production and logistics teams to ensure accurate order forecasting and timely delivery.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, budgets and performance reports to management.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with key accounts and distributors.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints or escalations promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, credit control procedures and reporting timelines.
  • Represent Kingrich Farm at trade shows, farmer/customer engagements and industry events as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the General Manager.
  • Kenyan National.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of proven sales management experience, preferably within agribusiness, FMCG, or the poultry/livestock industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently to meet clients across regions.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and sales/CRM software.
  • Highly organized, results-driven, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Sound understanding of the agribusiness/poultry sector is an added advantage.
  • Based at Kingrich Farm, Kajiado, with regular travel to distributor and client sites.
  • Availability to work extended hours when business needs require.
