Sales Executive – Wood Products Job (50K)

Location: Nairobi,

Gross Salary: Ksh 50,000 + Commission.

Our client is a reputable supplier of premium wood products and interior finishing solutions, serving both residential and commercial clients. Their product portfolio includes doors, door frames, flooring, ceilings, and other high-quality wood finishes. The company has built a strong reputation for quality craftsmanship, exceptional customer service, and reliable project delivery.

The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth by generating new business, managing customer relationships, and converting inquiries into sales. The role requires a proactive and customer-focused individual who can identify client needs, recommend suitable solutions, and deliver an excellent customer experience throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries through walk-ins, phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and other digital platforms.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Present products effectively, highlighting features, benefits, and value propositions.
• Prepare quotations and proactively follow up with clients to convert opportunities into sales.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship building.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, quotations, customer interactions, and sales activities.
• Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and performance objectives.
• Collaborate with operations and delivery teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Provide regular market feedback and sales updates to management.
• Represent the company professionally and uphold its reputation at all times.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a sales or business development role.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing customer relationships.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Excellent follow-up and relationship management abilities.
• Fluency in both English and Kiswahili.
• Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Professional, confident, and well-presented.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to understand client needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Experience in construction materials, interior finishes, furniture, building products, or related industries will be an added advantage.
