Holiday Inn Two Rivers is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our commercial team and drive revenue growth for the hotel.
About the role
- The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for Holiday Inn Two Rivers.
- The role involves building strong relationships with new and existing clients, identifying business opportunities, and securing bookings across key market segments, in line with IHG commercial standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to drive revenue for Holiday Inn Two Rivers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within the corporate, travel trade, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions), and leisure markets.
- Identify, qualify, and proactively pursue new business opportunities.
- Negotiate and close contracts for rooms, meetings, and events.
- Manage and grow existing client accounts to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations highlighting the hotel’s facilities and IHG brand offerings.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Work closely with hotel operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Achieve and consistently exceed individual sales targets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel sales, preferably 4-5 years in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of the Nairobi hospitality market, including corporate, travel trade, MICE, and leisure segments.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Target-driven, results-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience selling a 4-5 star IHG or internationally branded hotel will be an added advantage.
