Location: Maiani Dispensary, Salama – Makueni County
Contract Duration: One (1) Year, renewable
Gross Salary: KES 20,000 per month
Reports to: Clinical Officer (under supervision of the Administrator)
Position Summary The Revenue Clerk / Patient Register Recorder / Maintenance Care Officer will support smooth dispensary operations through accurate patient registration, revenue collection and accountability, record keeping, client guidance, and basic maintenance care of equipment and facilities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, receipt, and properly account for all dispensary revenue.
- Maintain daily cashbooks, payment records, and submit timely financial reports.
- Register patients accurately and maintain confidential outpatient and service registers.
- Manage retrieval, filing, and updating of patient records.
- Support routine data entry and reporting.
- Guide patients on service flow and fees payable.
- Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and basic maintenance of equipment and waiting areas.
- Report faulty or damaged equipment promptly.
- Support inventory control for stationery, registers, and maintenance supplies.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of patient and dispensary records, including electronic backups.
- Maintain clinic imprest and bank excess funds.
- Manage client flow to consultation rooms and laboratory.
- Open and close the dispensary as scheduled.
- Follow up on review and referred patients.
- Uphold integrity, accountability, and TSA values at all times.
Qualifications
- KCSE Certificate (minimum mean grade C-)
- Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, Health Records, or related field (added advantage)
- Basic knowledge of cash handling and revenue collection
- Ability to maintain manual and electronic records
- Basic computer literacy
- Good customer care and communication skills
- High integrity, honesty, and accountability
- Ability to work within a healthcare team
