About the Role:
Our client, a reputable chain of restaurants in Nairobi, is seeking a proactive and hands-on Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily restaurant operations. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with excellent organizational skills, a strong customer service mindset, and a passion for hospitality excellence. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring a seamless front-of-house experience, supervising staff, and maintaining service standards across the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of the restaurant including service, cleanliness, and customer engagement.
- Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver top-tier service.
- Monitor inventory levels and liaise with the kitchen and procurement team to ensure adequate stock.
- Handle customer complaints or queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate shift schedules, staff performance reviews, and attendance tracking.
- Report to the Restaurant Manager and assist in implementing strategic service initiatives.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a busy restaurant or hospitality setup, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and customer-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic reporting tools is an added advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
