Research Officer Job ODPP

The Research Officer supports evidence-based decision making by conducting research and analysis on legal, policy and operational issues related to prosecution and criminal justice.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducting legal and policy research to support institutional decision making
  • Collecting and analyzing data related to prosecution trends and legal developments
  • Preparing research reports, policy briefs and analytical documents
  • Supporting preparation of institutional reports and strategic documents
  • Reviewing legal literature and case law relevant to prosecution work
  • Supporting development of knowledge management resources within the institution
  • Providing research support to prosecutors and senior management
  • Assisting in dissemination of research findings and institutional knowledge
