Radiographer/Sonographer Job Outspan Hospital
Looking for a medical job in Kenya? Outspan Hospital is hiring a radiographer/sonographer to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and support accurate patient diagnosis. The role is based in Embu and experience in medical imaging sciences is required.
Outspan Teaching and Referral Hospital (OTRH), a leading Level 5 Teaching and Referral Hospital within the Outspan Global health and education ecosystem, invites applications from qualified and motivated professionals to fill the position of Radiographer/sonographer at its Embu Branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake initial patient evaluation
- Provide diagnostic radiographs
- Preform ultrasound and Doppler examinations
- Maintain patients records
- Ensure government compliance on radiation safety measures in the department
- Ensure scheduled maintenance and calibration of medical equipment are in place and followed
- Ensure quality management systems are implemented in the department.
Qualifications
- Higher diploma in medical imaging sciences from a recognized institution
- Bsc or Diploma in imaging sciences from a recognized institution
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience
- Valid practicing license
