Medical Jobs. Mandera County Government Jobs. Radiographer III providing radiographic services to patients, requiring a Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography with 1+ year experience and registration with the Association of Radiation Board of Kenya, in a public sector healthcare environment, on-site role in Mandera.

 Duties and responsibilities

• Providing Radiographic services to patients;
• Processing films;
• Processing, verifying and maintaining information relating to patients;
• Ordering and maintaining records of radiographic and photographic supplies requirements;
• Supervising other staff working under this position;
• Monitoring provision of health care in the county;
• Analyzing medical report in area of specialization;

 Requirements for Appointment

• Diploma in any of the following; Diagnostic Radiographer/medical Imaging services/ultra sound computerized Tomography/magnetic Resonance imaging mammography, Nuclear medicine, Radiation Therapy, Digital imaging or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
• Computer skills will be added advantage;
• At least one-year experience in a busy hospital;
• Be registered and in good standing with the Association of Radiation Board of Kenya;
• Have capacity to multitask within strict timeliness with minimum supervision.

• Member of the Audit Committee shall be appointed for a term of three years and shall be eligible for re-appointment for a further one term only.
• Remuneration: This is not a salaried position; Allowances applicable shall be determined by the salaries and remuneration commission.
• A person shall not be qualified for appointment as a Chair or a member of Audit Committee if the persons: –
  • Is present or past employee of the County Government of Mandera.
  • Have served as an employee or an agent of a business organization which has carried out business with County Government of Mandera for the last two years
