Quality Controller Job. Puratos Job

  • To support the development and the continuous improvement of the Quality standards, processes and procedures.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Conduct routine and spot checks to ensure adherence to Puratos’ quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of GMP, HACCP, ISO, FSSC, and other relevant quality systems.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements (KEBS, DOSHS, NEMA, County Governments, Halal, etc.).

Process & System Monitoring

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) in coordination with Quality Leader and the Operations Director.
  • Maintain accurate and timely quality control records and reports.

Supplier & Material Control

  • Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging to ensure conformity with company specifications.
  • Analyze supplier samples and provide timely feedback and recommendations.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality inputs.

Product Quality & Safety

  • Conduct analysis on raw materials and finished products as per operational procedures.
  • Ensure non-conforming products are identified, documented, and isolated to prevent unintended use.
  • Carry out shelf-life studies and support product improvement initiatives.

Customer & Vendor Feedback

  • Investigate and follow up on customer and vendor complaints in line with company policy and HACCP guidelines.

Audit & Certification Support

  • Assist in internal and external audits, including preparation for quality certifications and system reviews.

Team & Hygiene Oversight

  • Ensure production personnel always adhere to hygiene and safety protocols.
  • Actively participate in research and development for new products and continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, analytical Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or any other related field.
  • Working experience under ISO/GFSI, FSSC Certification, HSE Guidelines
  • At least 2 years’ working experience in a busy Manufacturing FMCG environment; working experience in Milling, Bakery or Pastry industry an added advantage.
  • Good command of ERP applications and MS Office applications
  • Language; fluent spoken and written in English
