Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify raw materials to ensure they meet required quality and performance standards before production.
- Conduct in-process quality checks to monitor print quality, color accuracy, dimensions, finishing and compliance with specifications.
- Perform final product inspections before dispatch to ensure products meet customer and company standards.
- Monitor production processes and identify defects, deviations or non-conformities for immediate corrective action.
- Support implementation and compliance of quality management systems (QMS), SOPs and audit requirements.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, quality reports and analyze quality trends for continuous improvement.
- Handle customer quality complaints and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with production teams.
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to reduce defects, wastage, downtime and rework.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
- Train production staff on quality procedures, inspection standards and best practices.
- Participate in internal audits, quality reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Quality Management, Industrial Chemistry, Packaging Technology, Engineering or related field. Bachelor’s Degree is an added advantage.
- 2-5 years experience in quality control within packaging, printing or manufacturing industries.
- Strong understanding of quality inspection processes, documentation and reporting.
- Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
