Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for a Quality Assurance Manager located at our Headquarters. The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee product quality and safety, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies. Responsibilities include managing quality control processes, conducting audits, implementing improvement plans, monitoring production standards, and training teams on quality assurance practices. The role also involves collaborating with multiple teams to maintain consistency in product excellence and actively addressing quality issues as they arise.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong expertise in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Experience with FSSC and ISO standards.
- Proficiency in conducting audits, process inspections, and risk assessments.
- Ability to develop and implement quality improvement plans and initiatives.
- Experience with team leadership, training, and maintaining collaborative workflows.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and certifications relevant to the industry is an advantage.
- Educational qualifications in Food Science, Quality Management, or related fields are preferred.
- Work experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG sector is beneficial.
- Ensuring that the legal and government regulations on Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental issues, KEBS, NEMA, US FDA, UKAS etc are met.
- Waste management and control / NEMA / Energy Audits management.
- Ensuring plant cleanliness at all times and managing the cleaning & sanitisation departments, including the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP).
