Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking to hire a QUALITY ASSURANCE ASSISTANT. The Quality assurance assistant will be responsible for leading, developing, maintaining and improving the Quality and Food Safety Functions at all levels of the manufacturing process.

• Knowledge of Food Safety Standards and Regulations.
• Product Testing and Inspection Skills.

• Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping.

• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (ǪMS).
• Analytical Thinking.

• Understanding of Customer Expectations.
• Understanding of HACCP system to suit different production lines.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science (Must Have) .
• Must have worked in a Food Manufacturing Industry in ǪC Department for a minimum of 3 Years.
• Minimum 2 Years’ experience in Quality Analytics.
• 1 Year experience in ǪA / Food Safety.

Skills required

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and quality control procedures.
• Knowledge of KAIZEN, FSSC 22000, FSMS (Food Safety Management System), 5-S and TQM
• (Total Quality Management).
• Strong analytical skills Proficient computer knowledge.
• Compliance and implementation of OSHA Act 2007.
• Understanding of Plant Hygiene Standards and Pest Control.
• Understanding of Risk Assessment, Change Management, Equipment Calibration and Validations.
• Understanding of RCA (Root Cause Analysis), Internal Audits.
• Knowledge in Testing and Inspection Documentation and Record Keeping.
• Problem Solving and Corrective Action Skills.
