The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Nairobi is seeking to recruit a suitable qualified Kenyan staff to work as the Protocol and Research Officer.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: –
- Drafting of relevant note verbals, letters, reports and other official documents for the Embassy.
- Support with all Protocol matters.
- Facilitating communication between the Embassy and government ministries, agencies and other international organizations.
- Researching and acquiring information requested by diplomats in regard to political, economic, social, cultural, environmental key issues as well as international affairs and preparing reports for the same.
- Assisting the administrative Officer on the day to day operations of the Embassy.
- Assisting in management of the Ambassador’s calendar.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in social science / law / humanities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrate sound work ethics
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in any reputable institution preferably a diplomatic mission or international organization
- Be computer literate (incl. MS word, Excel)
