Project Delivery & Coordination
- Lead end-to-end project management across Innovation teams, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
- Translate high-level goals into detailed project plans with clear tasks, owners, and deadlines.
- Identify, document, and escalate risks early to avoid delays and disruptions.
- Oversee task management on GitHub, ensuring high-quality, actionable project tickets.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Provide clear and regular project updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Manage expectations with partners and funders; coordinate kickoff calls and ongoing communication.
- Gather high-level requirements and guide teams in designing solutions aligned to partner and organizational needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance
- Facilitate effective collaboration between Product, Engineering, Data, and Program teams.
- Support sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and resource coordination.
- Ensure structured governance, documentation, and consistent delivery processes.
Who you are:
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Computer Science, Health Informatics, International Development, or a related field. Master’s degree in Public Health or a relevant technical field desirable.
- Strong proficiency in project management tools (GitHub Projects, Jira, Notion, etc.).
- Understanding of software delivery lifecycles from requirements to deployment.
- Familiarity with digital health systems (e.g., OpenMRS, DHIS2) and integrations (APIs, FHIR, HL7).
- Ability to engage with technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
