Reporting Line

This position reports to the Project Manager / Senior Project Manager

Project Planning and Initiation

  • Support project execution planning upon confirmation of scope
  • Assist in assigning responsibilities across internal teams and vendors
  • Consolidate inputs from cross-functional teams into integrated project work plans
  • Prepare and maintain project initiation and governance documents including project charter and project management plans.

Project Execution and Work Management

  • Execute project activities in line with the agreed project management methodology
  • Track assigned tasks, dependencies, and milestones across the project lifecycle
  • Monitor progress against approved plans and escalate deviations, risks, or issues promptly
  • Support planning and execution of assigned module rollouts and track progress to closure

Budget and Resource Tracking (Support Role)

  • Track project budget consumption and resource utilization against approved plans
  • Monitor progress toward objectives and highlight variances for review
  • Support the Project Manager in identifying causes of deviations and proposing corrective actions

Deliverable and Quality Management

  • Create and maintain the deliverable responsibility matrix (RACI / DRM)
  • Track execution and completion of deliverables across teams
  • Coordinate peer reviews, deliverable validation, client acceptance, and transition checkpoints
  • Ensure deliverables meet agreed quality and acceptance criteria

Scope and Change Management

  • Support scope definition, service level alignment, and user requirements documentation
  • Log, track, and coordinate scope change requests
  • Participate in scope review and approval meetings and track outcomes.

Stakeholder and Client Coordination

  • Act as a day-to-day coordination point for assigned clients and stakeholders under the guidance of the Project Manager
  • Support preparation and coordination of project steering committee meetings
  • Prepare and circulate weekly project status reports to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication across project teams

Reporting and Governance

  • Prepare regular project status reports covering progress, risks, issues, and actions
  • Support presentations on project health for management and governance forums
  • Maintain accurate risk, issue, decision, and action logs

Documentation and Project Closure

  • Ensure all project documentation is up to date, approved, and properly stored
  • Support project closure activities including verification of completed deliverables
  • Track milestone approvals, sign-offs, and milestone certificates
  • Assist in lessons learned documentation and project handover

Professional and Academic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology, Computer Science,  IT or any other related.
  • Professional Certification in Project Management- Prince2 Foundation /CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management ) – Added Advantage.
  • 2 years’ experience in managing ERP and Software Application projects.

  • Ability to lead and manage technical teams and client project teams.
  • Meets or exceeds project revenue targets.
  • Great team player, decisive, strategic thinker, deadline & result-driven, and highly organized
  • Ability to resolve conflict with teams and with users/stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Ability to understand business processes and provide insight to the best practices.
  • Exceptional customer relationship management skills with the ability to provide workable solutions during crisis situations.
  • Highly refined project and time management capability while being ability to prioritize work, deliver within deadlines and manage crises/conflicts.
