Program Officer Job- Youth Economic Empowerment Job

  • Job Purpose: The Program Officer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring Youth Economic
  • Empowerment programs aligned with the Foundation’s Strategic Initiatives. This role requires strong Program
  • Management skills, key stakeholder engagement, and a passion for driving youth-focused positive impacts through
  • private sector-led initiatives

Program Design & Implementation:

Develop, plan, and execute projects that promote youth entrepreneurship, employability, and skills development.

Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain relationships with implementing partners, government agencies, private sector actors, and youth-led organizations.

Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E):

Track project performance, outcomes, and impacts; contribute to learning and continuous improvement
using M&E tools and data.

Reporting & Communication:

Prepare periodic program reports, case studies, and success stories; contribute to internal and external communications.

Budget & Compliance Oversight:

Support Program budgeting, manage grants disbursement, and ensure activities adhere to organizational and regulatory standards.

The Person:

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in development studies, Economics, Business, Social Sciences, or related field (master’s
  • degree is an advantage).
  • 3–5 years of experience in Program Management within the Development or private sector, preferably in
  • Youth or Economic Empowerment Projects.
  • Proven experience in coordinating multi-stakeholder projects and managing partner relationships.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Results Frameworks and reporting systems.
