Key Responsibilities
- Develop & implement production plans aligned with sales forecasts, customer orders and inventory targets.
- Ensure achievement of production targets through efficient machine, manpower and material utilization.
- Monitor and improve production KPIs including output, downtime, waste reduction, efficiency and cost control.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing, 5S and process optimization.
- Ensure products meet required quality standards through effective QA/QC processes and corrective actions.
- Coordinate raw material planning, inventory control and stock reconciliation with procurement and stores teams.
- Work closely with maintenance teams to improve machine reliability and reduce downtime.
- Enforce workplace safety, OSHA compliance and environmental standards across production operations.
- Lead and supervise production teams, ensuring accountability, productivity, training and performance improvement.
- Prepare production, quality, downtime and operational performance reports to support decision-making.
- Support factory expansion, automation, new product development, and operational growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, Manufacturing or related field. Bachelor’s Degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum 3+ years experience in manufacturing operations, with leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, quality systems, inventory control and factory KPIs.
- Experience managing teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel & reporting tools is an added advantage.
