Objective of the Role

We are seeking a production manager who will be managing the entire production process, from material selection to final product quality, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. The Production Manager will play a key role in aligning production processes, maintaining quality control, and reporting regularly to top management.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering field or degree in wood science and industrial processes or related course
• Over 5 years relevant managerial experience in a busy woodworking, joinery, or furniture manufacturing environment
• Knowledge and experience of joinery workshop environment and woodwork machinery
• Outstanding time management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong people management and leadership skills
• Ability to work with people at various levels from shop floor to senior management.
• Can look beyond the initial customer enquiry and identify other business opportunities.
• Quality and productivity-focused
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Good technical understanding and relevant practical skills
• High level of attention to detail required
