Producer (Video) NGO Job MYCP

About the Role
As part of our funded project by Save the Children, we’re looking for a producer to create, edit and produce an emotive, impactful video highlighting young migrant voices, and their calls for global migration policy, from around the world to showcase at the upcoming International Migration Review Forum (May 2026). This is a compensated position with a fixed maximum budget of €4,400, with an expectation to deliver against the timeline below.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, create, organise, edit and produce a “Youth Voices” video showcasing young migrants’ calls to world leaders to mobilise for action on migration policy issues
- N.B., we’re not expecting the producer to shoot the video. The idea is to ask people and communities to shoot the video themselves and then send them in for editing.
Delivery Timeline
- December 2025 – Create and design a storyboard for the video & Create a full guidance document to send to people on how to shoot the video and what to include
- January 2026 – Gather video submissions from MYCP’s network and other young people to be included in the video
- February 2026- Edit gathered submissions into a video, and 3-4 short clips for social media
- March 2026 – Finalise the video
Video Specification
- 1 long form video of around 2-3 minutes
- 3-4 short clips for social media (around 30 seconds each)
Person Specification
- Aged between 18 and 30 years old
- Excellent creative, design and video editing skills
- Person who has and is able to edit on professional video editing software (i.e., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) with the ability to add in graphics
- A passion and support for youth and migration
- A keen creative eye, confident communicator, problem solver and out-of-the-box thinker
- Good command of English (fluency in one or more other UN languages is desirable)
