Job Summary The job holder will be responsible for developing effective sourcing strategies, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements while supporting overall business objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value products include cartons, Homopolymer, woven bags, PE bags, PE Breathable film. * Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and ethical standards
• Coordinate with finance, stores, and user departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in procurement, with at least 1 years in a managerial procurement role preferably in a manufacturing setup.
• Membership with CIPS or KISM will be an added advantage
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Good analytical and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Be proficient in Ms Excel and have Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g. Quick-books).
• Available immediately.
