Process Engineer Job. CDL Human Resource Jobs
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Process Engineer provides support to the operations team, focuses on optimizing efficiency, conducting complex troubleshooting, and managing improvement projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collecting data required to make improvements and/or modifications
- Carry out process optimization through plant and instruments audits
- Investigating and troubleshooting plant/process problems
- Liaising with quality control to ensure inputs are optimal and to control product quality
- Offer technical support to operations team to overcome process bottlenecks
- Scheduling and coordinating work to tight deadlines and within financial budgets
- Ensuring that equipment works to its specification and to appropriate capacities
- Liaising with installation/project engineers and specialists on new equipment installations
- Ensuring safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety legislation
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical and process engineering
- At Least Registered with the Engineering body (ERB)
- 7 years of working Experience in the cement Manufacturing Industry.
- Proficient in using ERP systems
- Excellent analytical skills and familiarity with computer aided auditing tools
- Excellent presentation and report-writing skills
- Ability to troubleshoot & solve engineering problems.
