Printing Machine Operator Job Ramco

Responsibilities
- Operate printing machines efficiently to deliver quality printed materials with minimal waste.
- Ensure compliance with job specifications, including print clarity and color accuracy.
- Conduct regular quality checks to identify and address printing defects.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of printing machines.
- Interpret job orders to determine print specifications (quantities, stock types, production times, etc.).
- Set up and adjust printing plates, rollers, and other components.
- Monitor machine performance and make timely adjustments to avoid downtime.
- Blend and test inks and solvents as per material and job requirements.
- Provide on-the-job training to Assistant Machine Operators.
- Maintain proper documentation of production data and quality checks.
- Support waste reduction, 5S practices, and good manufacturing standards.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Printing Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience operating Flexo/Rotogravure/M6 machines.
- Strong understanding of printing processes and machine operations.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior staff effectively.
- Certificate of Good Conduct or proof of application.
