Principal Accountant Job President’s Award-Kenya
Accounting Jobs, President’s Award-Kenya Jobs. Principal Accountant oversees financial accounting, requiring an Accounting/Finance Bachelor’s, CPA Part III/ACCA, ICPAK membership, 4-week management course, and 9+ years experience (3+ as Senior Officer). Full-time role in Nairobi.
The Principal accountant is responsible for ensuring prudent and optimum utilization of Agency Funds and preparing financial reports.
Key Requirements:
- Cumulative service period of nine (9) years’ relevant work experience, three (3) of which must have been at the grade of Senior Finance and Accounts Officer or in comparable position;
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Business Management, Business Administration (Accounting or Finance option) or other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
- Passed Part III of the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Examination/ACCA affiliate Exams;
- Membership in good standing of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) or any other recognized professional body;
- Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
- Proficiency in computer applications;
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
