  • Develop and maintain structured data systems to integrate surveillance, clinical, environmental, and climate datasets.
  • Clean, harmonize, and prepare large multi-source datasets for statistical analysis.
  • Integrate geospatial and climatic data with cholera incidence data.
  • Develop a Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP) for modelling cholera transmission dynamics and vaccine effectiveness.
  • Conduct time-series, regression, and spatiotemporal analyses.
  • Produce cholera transmission risk maps and identify key outbreak predictors.
  • Apply appropriate geostatistical and machine learning methods where relevant.
  • Prepare statistical reports, manuscripts, presentations, and policy briefs.
  • Support the dissemination of study findings to stakeholders.

  • PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Disease Modelling, or a related quantitative field from a recognized institution. Mandatory
  • At least three (3) years of experience in advanced statistical modelling. Mandatory
  • Experience working with surveillance or routine health datasets. Mandatory
  • Proficiency in statistical software such as R, Python, STATA, or equivalent tools. Mandatory
  • Experience in geospatial or spatiotemporal modelling will be an added advantage. Added Advantage
