Project Management Jobs, Kenya Veterinary Board Jobs. Planning Officer II formulates policy frameworks, strategic plans, and monitoring systems, requires an Economics or Planning Degree and 3+ years experience. Full-time role in Nairobi.
Duties and responsibilities
- Collecting statistical data;
- Analyzing data and producing necessary report as requested;
- Conducting economic analyses and formulating strategies;
- Providing Input into feasibility studies and service delivery surveys;
- Providing input in the preparation of development plans;
- Updating database of statistical data;
- Retrieving statistical information on a regular basis as required; and
- Carrying out research and surveys.
Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade a candidate must have: –
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Economics, Statistics, Economics and Mathematics, Economics and Finance, Economics and Statistics or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution; and
- Proficiency in computer applications.
