Requirements for Appointment: –
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: – Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Planning or Town Planning from a recognized institution;
- Membership to a relevant professional body
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing physical development plans;
- Undertaking feasibility studies on physical, social, economic and environmental characteristics;
- Implementing physical plans for County, urban areas and cities;
- Processing development applications;
- Maintaining physical planning records;
- Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
