Petroleum Officer (Engineer) II Job PSCK

Engineering Jobs, Public Service Commission Kenya (PSCK) Jobs. Engineer II assists in planning, design, and supervision of engineering works, prepares specifications, and inspects sites, requires an Engineering Degree and EBK Graduate registration.

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Engineering, Petroleum Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Geological Engineering, Mining and Mineral Processing Engineering or Technology (Chemical Engineering) from a university recognized in Kenya.

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include:-

• collecting and recording petroleum engineering data on drilling, production, and reservoir performance;
• participating in petroleum drilling and related engineering work programs for designated projects;
• participating in petroleum resource evaluation;
• participating in measurement and calibration of down hole parameters including temperature flow rate and pressure of oil and gas; and)
• monitoring installation, operation, and maintenance of petroleum engineering equipment and facilities.
