Petroleum Economic Analyst II Job PSCK

Finance Jobs, Public Service Commission Kenya (PSCK) Jobs. Petroleum Economic Analyst II evaluates petroleum fiscal models, conducts cost-benefit analyses, and supports revenue forecasting, requires an Economics or Finance Degree.

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Economics, Economics and Mathematics, Economics and Statistics, Petroleum Economics, Quantitative Economics, Public Policy Economics, or Statistics from a university recognized in Kenya.

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include: –

• collecting, compiling and updating refined petroleum products consumption data;
• analyzing data on petroleum projects and programs;
• forecasting market trends for crude oil, gas, and refined petroleum products;
• participating in monitoring of petroleum supply chains and strategic stocks;
