Pest Control Operator Job

Inspection & Assessment

  • Conduct detailed inspections of client premises to identify signs of pest infestations (insects, rodents, termites, etc.)
  • Assess the type, extent, and severity of the infestation to determine appropriate control measures
  • Identify potential sources and entry points for pests and recommend corrective actions

Treatment Planning & Execution

  • Develop and implement effective pest management plans based on inspection findings
  • Select appropriate pesticides or control techniques according to pest type, safety guidelines, and local regulations
  • Safely handle, mix, and apply chemical and non-chemical treatments using manual and automated equipment

Client Communication & Education

  • Communicate clearly with clients to explain inspection results, treatment plans, and safety precautions
  • Provide after-service reports and educate clients on best practices to prevent future infestations
  • Maintain a professional and courteous manner during all customer interactions

Compliance & Safety

  • Follow all UAE pest control regulations and adhere to international safety standards (including PPE usage and chemical handling)
  • Ensure proper documentation of pesticide usage, service logs, and incident reports
  • Report any safety concerns or violations to supervisors promptly

Maintenance & Equipment Care

  • Inspect, clean, and maintain pest control equipment regularly to ensure functionality and safety
  • Calibrate tools and machines as required for different treatment types
  • Keep vehicle and storage areas clean and stocked with necessary supplies

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of treatments performed, including site details, chemicals used, and treatment outcomes
  • Complete service reports and submit daily logs to supervisors
  • Assist in creating trend analysis reports for recurring clients or sites with persistent infestations

Key Requirement Skills And Qualification

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in pest control services with a reputable international company in Kenya
  • Proficient in English – both written and spoken
  • Strong knowledge of pest control methods, safety protocols, and chemical handling
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual work in varying environmental conditions
