Role Overview
The Passador at Brazilian Rodizio will deliver the authentic churrascaria experience by skillfully carving and serving premium meats directly at guests’ tables in Lavington, Nairobi. This Brazilian Rodizio Jobs role involves grilling meats on spits, engaging with guests, and ensuring a high-energy dining atmosphere. Brazilian Rodizio seeks charismatic individuals with strong service skills and knowledge of Brazilian cuisine to enhance the rodizio experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Meat Service: Carve and serve premium meats, such as Beef Picanha (KES 1,900) and Lamb (KES 1,800), directly at guests’ tables, following Brazilian Rodizio’s rodizio-style service.
- Grilling Support: Assist in grilling meats on spits over a charcoal fire, ensuring optimal flavor and presentation as per Brazilian Rodizio’s standards.
- Guest Interaction: Engage guests with enthusiasm, explaining meat cuts and enhancing their dining experience at Brazilian Rodizio.
- Service Coordination: Collaborate with waiters and waitresses to ensure timely and seamless service during Brazilian Rodizio’s busy periods.
- Hygiene Standards: Maintain cleanliness of serving equipment and adhere to Brazilian Rodizio’s food safety protocols.
- Upselling: Promote Brazilian Rodizio’s specialty items, such as cocktails and sides, to enhance guest experiences and increase sales.
- Feedback Collection: Gather guest feedback on meat quality and service, reporting to management to support Brazilian Rodizio’s improvement efforts.
- Compliance: Follow Brazilian Rodizio’s service and hygiene standards, ensuring a professional and safe dining environment.

Qualifications and Skills
- Certificate in Hospitality, Food and Beverage Service, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- 1–2 years of experience in a restaurant or churrascaria setting, preferably with meat-serving or grilling experience.
- Knowledge of Brazilian churrascaria service and meat cuts is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with Brazilian Rodizio’s guests.
- Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, aligning with Brazilian Rodizio’s culture.
- High integrity and commitment to hygiene and service standards.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and evenings (09:00 AM – 11:00 PM).
