Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Partnerships & Projects Coordinator to support B2B partnerships, business development initiatives, partner relationship management, and strategic growth projects.
The role will assist commercial teams in lead generation, project coordination, partner onboarding, and company events while supporting ongoing growth initiatives and retention efforts. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support commercial teams in lead generation, acquisition, and onboarding of new B2B partners
  • Support partner operations and coordinate timely follow-ups to ensure smooth communication and execution of activities.
  • Assist in managing the B2B sales process including partner discovery calls, coordinating product demos, and supporting onboarding activities
  • Support product awareness initiatives across Pezesha’s B2B business lines through LinkedIn content and targeted outreach
  • Maintain and update competitive analysis reports aligned with business objectives and market trends
  • Support the CEO and commercial team with discovery calls, follow-up actions, and coordination for strategic events
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to help track and optimize the sales funnel
  • Assist in planning and coordinating strategic events, immersions, Financial Literacy initiatives, and CSR partnerships
  • Support preparation of quarterly and annual impact reports
  • Coordinate the monthly partner newsletter reporting
  • Provide project coordination support for strategic company initiatives and rollout plans
  • Ensure proper and detailed documentation and structured folder management across all projects to support transparency, tracking, and team collaboration.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Project Management, Marketing Operations, or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in B2B business development, partnerships support, or project coordination role
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Critical thinking and ability to prioritize across multiple tasks
  • Experience in fintech or East African banking industry is an added advantage
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-growing startup environments
