Job Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the restaurant, beer garden, and padel sports activities. This role ensures high-quality customer service, efficient daily operations, financial performance, and the seamless integration of hospitality and sports offerings. The Operations Manager will lead teams across different departments, maintain service excellence, and ensure that the establishment runs profitably while delivering a premium experience to guests

Key Responsibilities

General Operations Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the fine dining restaurant, beer garden, and padel sports facilities.
  • Ensure all departments function smoothly, maintaining high service standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams for timely replenishments.
  • Implement and maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards across all areas.
  • Ensure full compliance with hotel operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards.

Financial Performance & Budgeting

  • Draw up and manage budgets, revenue targets, and cost control strategies.
  • Oversee cash flow, sales reports, and financial forecasts to maximize profitability.
  • Identify and implement strategies to enhance revenue, such as promotions and events.
  • Prepare a monthly financial report for the Directors.
  • A strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies.

Customer Experience & Service Excellence

  • Maintain a premium guest experience by ensuring high service quality.
  • Handle VIP guest relations and resolve customer complaints effectively.
  • Work closely with chefs, bartenders, and service teams to enhance the food and beverage experience.

Team Leadership & Human Resources

  • Recruit, train, and manage staff across different departments.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and ensure clear communication of goals and expectations.
  • Motivate and mentor employees, ensuring a strong team culture and performance.
  • Be accountable for the responsibilities of department heads and take ownership of all guest complaints.
  • Provide effective leadership to hotel team members.
  • Lead in all aspects of business planning.
  • Hold regular briefings and meetings with all heads of departments.

Marketing & Events Coordination

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the restaurant, beer garden, and padel activities.
  • Plan and execute special events, tournaments, and promotional activities to attract and retain customers.
  • To maintain a strong brand presence in the social media platforms.
  • Attract high end sponsorships for all activities in the restaurant.

Padel Sport Integration

  • Ensure the smooth operation of padel courts.
  • Coordinate with coaches to enhance the padel experience.
  • Organize padel tournaments, leagues, and private coaching sessions.
  • Manage the play-tomic platform for maximum revenue

Compliance & Legal Requirements

  • Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records related to legal and operational matters.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and implement necessary changes

Qualifications

Ideal candidates MUST HAVE:

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in senior positions, and at least 5 years in operations manager role.
  • Strategic mindset, logical thinker with high attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, menu planning and engineering and cost control measures
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet sales targets.
