Operations Manager Job Jawabu Biashara Nairobi, Kenya

Roles and Responsibilities:

• This is a senior position and the fulcrum of the business operations within the institution. The position reports to the Director of Operations.
• The key deliverable for the role is Growth | Scale & Budget, Quality portfolio and staff productivity.
• This role also involves overseeing sales strategies and enhance market presence to optimize on lead generation, and setting clear objectives to achieve Institutional goals.
• Managing and mentoring business development teams to achieve organizational goal.
• The role ensure that business risks are mitigated ensures policy compliance, and protects company interests in a dynamic market to enhance operational success.
• The position requires a field biased professional (75% of the time), conscious on growth, quality and with good business execution strategies.
• The role is focused especially on managing internal customers (the staff), external customers and other related business stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Management, or other related fields.
• At least 3 years’ hands-on experience in a senior management position in Microfinance sector. With roles including managing field offices and the leadership of field teams.
• Worked in an environment that especially delivers secured facilities through log book and has good appreciation of micro and impact-based solutions.
• Outstanding leadership abilities that are performance based.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Further, demonstrate analytical thinking and business insights.
• Strong MS Suite skills / Google Sheets and records / tracker management / data analytic skills.
• High ethical standards with unquestionable integrity and confidentiality.
