Operations Manager – AI trainer Job

Join our customer’s team as an Operations Manager – AI trainer, where your subject matter expertise will help develop AI systems that understand and support General and Operations Management roles. In this part-time, fully remote position, you will play a crucial part in training advanced AI models by leveraging your deep knowledge of operations management across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the AI development team to create, review, and refine data and materials specific to the General and Operations Manager domain.
  • Design real-world scenarios, workflows, and decision-making processes to train AI on operational best practices.
  • Provide expert insights on formulating policies, managing daily operations, and optimizing the use of materials and human resources.
  • Assess AI-generated outputs for accuracy, relevance, and clarity, ensuring alignment with industry standards and operational excellence.
  • Document feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of AI training methodologies.
  • Engage in regular written and verbal communication with cross-functional stakeholders to share updates and foster collaboration.
  • Oversee virtual simulations and training modules used in AI development, ensuring the inclusion of nuanced management challenges and solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a General and Operations Manager, Operations Director, Plant Superintendent, Store Manager, or similar leadership role overseeing multiple departments or locations.
  • Expertise in planning, directing, and coordinating public or private sector operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to design and articulate complex business scenarios for training and assessment purposes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage through subordinate supervisors and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of formulating policies, resource allocation, and operational efficiency improvement.
  • Comfort working independently in a remote, part-time collaboration environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an SME or AI trainer in operations management or a related field.
  • Familiarity with AI development processes or data annotation workflows.
  • Certification in operations management, business administration, or a related discipline.
