Job Summary

The Operations Associate will support day-to-day shipping and logistics operations by coordinating documentation, tracking shipments, liaising with clearing agents, and ensuring the timely delivery of import and export consignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments (imports and exports).
• Prepare and verify shipping documents such as Bills of Lading, invoices, and packing lists.
• Liaise with clearing agents, shipping lines, and transporters to ensure smooth cargo movement.
• Follow up on customs clearance processes and cargo release at the port.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and update internal tracking systems.
• Communicate shipment updates to clients and the internal operations team.
• Prepare daily or weekly shipment tracking reports.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Shipping, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in shipping or logistics operations.
• Familiarity with customs and port procedures is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of KPA and KRA System is an added advantage.
